falls 1.26c to $2.3363/gal, according to Lundberg Survey Inc.
* Survey by Camarillo, Calif.-based co. conducted March 24,
based on information collected at 2,500 filling stations
* Highest avg U.S. retail price: $3.01/gal in San Francisco
bay area
* Long Island, N.Y.: $2.34/gal
* Los Angeles: $2.95/ gal
* Houston: $2.09/ gal
* Current price is +32c y/y
* “Prices are quite stable and for the near term we are
likely to see small changes too,” Trilby Lundberg,
president of Lundberg Survey, says in phone interview
* Demand still weak in pre-spring season amid refinery
